The Japan Senga Association - Past Exhibitons 2004

2004 was a memorable year as we celebrated the 20the anniversary of Japan Senga Association. 20th Japan Senga Exhibition, which featured past Grand Prix-winning works, was held in a retrospective mood.

The new exhibition called “Senga Design: Uchiwa (Japanese Fans)”, along with “The New Year Greeting Card Exhibition” series started in 2003, proved to be very successful, receiving positive response from both critics and the public. We are especially grateful for having shared senga and its joy with so many people through familiar items such as Uchiwa designs and the New Year greeting cards.

With so many senga activities and exhibitions going on throughout Japan, 2004 turned out be one of the most exciting years we have enjoyed. It was the year that defined the future direction of our association.
